PH Blu Girls nakamit ang ika-10 SEAG softball gold
TULAD ng inaasahan nauwi ng Philippines Blu Girls ang gold medal at ika-10 Southeast Asian Games title sa pagwalis sa lahat ng mga nakatunggali nito sa 30th SEA Games women’s softball competition.
Napagwagian ng Nationals ang ginto sa lahat ng mga laro nito softball sa biennial meet.
At nitong Linggo, ipinagpatuloy ng PH Blu Girls ang pagdomina sa mga kalaban nito matapos ang itala ang 8-0 panalo kontra Indonesia sa larong ginanap sa The Villages sa Mabalacat, Pampanga.
Ang PH Blu Girls, na hinahawakan ni coach Randy Dizer, ay pinangungunahan nina Cheska Altomonte, Garie Blando, Mary Ann Antoleh Hao, Ezra Jalandoni, Lyka Basa at Kikay Palma.
Ang gintong medalya sa SEA Games women’s softball competition noong 1979, 1981, 1987, 1991, 1997, 2005, 2007, 2011 at 2015 ay nauwi ng PH Blu Girls.
