Tabal ginulat ni Hallasgo sa Sea Games marathon

NAKUHA ng Pilipinas ang gintong medalya sa women’s marathon ng 2019 Southeast Asian Games Biyernes ng umaga sa New Clark City.
Pero hindi ang paboritong si Mary Joy Tabal ang nagwagi kundi ang taga-Malaybalay, Bukidnon na si Christine Hallasgo.
Tinapos ni Hallasgo ang 42.195-kilometer race sa loob ng dalawang oras, 56 minuto at 56 segundo para makuha ang gintong medalya.
Pumangalawa naman ang Olympian na si Tabal sa tiyempong 2:58:49.
Napunta sa Vietnam ang bronze sa oras na 3:02.52.
