GUSTO ko lang pong itanong sa PhilHealth, since napirmahan na po ang Universal Health Care, kung lahat po ba ng member ng PhilHealth ay entitled na po ng free consultation sa mga accredited hospitals? At lahat po ba ng accredited hospitals ng PhilHealth ay magbibigay po ng free consultation or may selected hospitals lang po ang PhilHealth?

REPLY: Pagbati mula sa PhilHealth!
Ito po ay bilang pagtugon sa inyong mensahe patungkol sa free consultation sa mga accredited hospitals sa napirmahang batas o Universal Health Care.
Nais po naming ipabatid, na wala pang nababanggit patungkol sa consultation sa ilalim ng UHC.
Sa kasalukuyan ang existing policy ng PhilHealth ay patungkol sa mga consultation o deducted diagnostic exams sa mga piling health center o hospital ang susundin.
Ang dalawang programa ng PhilHealth para sa mga consultation o diagnostic exams ay Primary Care Benefits (PCB) at Expanded Primary Care Benefit (EPCB).
Ang PCB ay covered ang mga miyembro sa ilalim ng Indigent, Sponsored, Overseas Workers Program (Land-based), Organized Groups/iGroups, DepEd Personnel. Samantala ang EPCB ay para naman sa mga miyembro sa ilalim ng Formal Economy (employed), Lifetime Members, Senior Citizen.
