Mga ahensiya ng gobyerno pinakikilos na harap ng patuloy na pagkalat ng African Swine Fever

INATASAN ng Palasyo ang lahat ng mga ahensiya ng gobyerno na magpatupad ng hakbang para maiwasan ang patuloy na pagkalat ng African Swine Fever sa harap ng ulat na ilang produkto ng longganisa, hotdog at tosino na nabibili sa palengke ang kontaminado ng ASF.

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo na naglabas na ng direktiba sa mga departamento na sumali na rin sa kampanya kontra ASF.

“At the same time, the Executive Secretary also directs all concerned and responsible government offices to provide assistance, alternative livelihood and skills training to those affected by ASF,” sabi ni Panelo.

Idinagdag ni Panelo na dapat ding matiyak ang pagsunod ng lahat sa pinaiiral na mga alituntunin ng mga otoridad para maiwasan na madagdagan pa ang apektado ng ASF.

“Office of the President implores the public to extend their utmost cooperation to government authorities in order to prevent the spread of ASF,” giit ni Panelo.

Tumanggi naman ang Deparment of Agriculture (DA) na pangalanan ang mga produktong nagpositibo sa ASF.
