Duterte sesertipikan bilang urgent ang Anti-Discrimination bill, hindi ang SOGIE bill
SINABI ng Palasyo na sesertipikahan ni Pangulong Duterte bilang urgent ang Anti-Discrimination bill at hindi ang Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression Equality Bill(SOGIE) bill.
“He (Duterte) was referring to an Anti-Discrimination bill not SOGIE bill much like the anti-discrimination ordinance existing in Davao passed when he was still the mayor there,” sabi ni Presidential Spokesperson at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo.
Sa kanyang press conference Martes ng gabi, nangako si Duterte na sesertipikahan ang panukala nang tanungin kaugnay ng SOGIE bill.
“Kasi sa Davao, pag-boom ng Davao, ang mga Moro galing Cotabato, galing Marawi hindi nila pinagbibilihan sa mga subdivisions.
Sabi ko, ‘If you do not allow everybody na magtira diyan… Pilipino rin ito. Human — you might not like them but they are Filipinos,” sabi ni Duterte.
“I do not want it in a… Mayroon ako anti-discrimination. Bakla, iyang mga disabled. Nauna ako sa totoo lang,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
