Pulong lipat partido, paghahanda na maging speaker?
LILIPAT partido si presidential son at Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte, isa umanong hakbang na maaaring magluklok sa kanya bilang speaker.
Si Duterte, na tumakbo sa ilalim ng Hugpong ng Tawong Lungsod, ay lilipat sa National Unity Party.
Bukod kay Duterte makikipag-alyansa rin umano ang NUP sina Representatives Carlo Gonzales (Marino) Eric Go Yap, Nina Taduran at Jocelyn Tulfo (ACT-CIS).
Sa paglipat ni Duterte sa isang major political party ay nabuksan muli ang isyu ng liderato ng Kamara de Representantes.
Si Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano ay uupo ng 15 buwan bilang speaker. Ayon sa kasunduan siya ay papalitan ni Marinduque Rep. Lord Allan Velasco.
Si Duterte naman ay naunang nagpahayag ng interes na maging speaker. Sa kasalukuyan siya ay Deputy Speaker.
