Pinoy memory sports athletes masusubukan sa PH Int’l Open Memory Championship

Nakatakdang magtuos ang mga malulupet sa memorya sa 6th Philippine International Open Memory Championship sa Hulyo 13-14 sa Hotel Dreamworld sa North Edsa, Quezon City.

Ito ang sinabi ni coach Anne Bernadette “AB” Bonita sa kanyang pagdalo sa Usapang Sports forum ng Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports (TOPS) Huwebes ng umaga sa National Press Club, Intramuros, Manila.

“Pinaghahandaan na po ng mga miyembro ng Philippine memory sports team ang 6th Philippine International Open Memory Championship. Bukod po sa tayo ang host ng tournament na ito ay nais po naming ipakita sa na isa sa mga pinakamahuhusay sa buong mundo sa mind games ang mga Pilipino,” sabi ni Coach AB, na siya ring presidente ng Philippine Mind Sports Association, Inc.

“This year’s event will be the biggest ever. Mula sa 44 players na sumali noong isang taon ay 83 memory athletes na po ang nag-registered mula Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, India and, of course, from host Philippines.”

Kasama ni Coach AB sa lingguhang sports forum na suportado rin ng Philippine Sports Commission, Community Basketball Association, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), NPC at HG Guyabano Tea Leaf Drinks sina Grandmaster of Memory Enzo Gabriel Castillon, Philippine kids memory sports champion Chloe Andrea Galamgam at PH top juniors memory athlete Jan Jelo Juanir, na minsan nang nagpakita ng gilas sa Little Big Shots PH.

Sa harap ng mga namanghang miyembro ng TOPS ay nagpakita naman ng husay sa speed cards si Castillon, gayundin si Galamgam sa spoken words at si Juanir sa spoken numbers.

Maglalaro rin para sa Team Philippines sina Jamyla Lambunao, Erwin Balines, Jaychelle Miranda Calumpong at Chelsea Acogido.

Ang 6th Philippine International Open Memory Championship ay sanctioned ng Asia Memory Sports Alliance at ng

Global Association of Memory Athletics at may ayuda mula sa Eurotel, Hotel Sogo, Megasoft Hygienic Products at Paragon Business Consultancy Inc. Ang torneyo ay binubuo ng 10 memory disciplines kung saan magtatagisan ng husay sa pagmemorya ang mga kalahok sa larangan ng numbers, words, dates, abstract images, cards, spoken numbers at names and faces.

Dagdag pa ni Coach AB, apat na kategorya ang paglalabanan: Kids, Juniors, Seniors at Adults (open).
