14 bangkay nakuha sa river cleanup

NAIROBI, Kenya – Hindi lang basura ang nakuha sa clean up drive sa isang ilog dito kundi maging 14 na bangkay.

Ang walong taong gulang na batang lalaki ay pinaniniwalaan na sinakal at itinapon sa Nairobo River. Nauna rito ang nakuha ay kambal na nakalagay sa plastic bag.

Umabot na sa 14 ang mga bangkay na nakuha sa ilog mula ng simulan ang clean up driver ni Governor Mike Sonko.

Dumumi ang ilog dahil sa mga pabrika na dito nagpapaagos ng kanilang dumi.

Ang Nairobi ay nangangahulugang “place of cool waters”.
