Female cadet nanguna sa PMA Class of 2019

NANGUNA ang isang female cadet mula sa Ilocos Sur sa mga magtatapos sa Philippine Military Academy (PMA).

Pangungunahan ni Cadet 1st Class Dionne Mae Apolog Umalla, ng barangay Allilem Daya, Alillem, Ilocos Sur, ang 263 PMA MABALASIK (Mandirigma ng Bayan, Iaalay ang Sarili, Lakas at Tapang, Para sa Kapayapaan) Class of 2019, at isa sa limang babaeng pumasok sa top 10.

Sa kabuuang magtatapos, 73 dito ang mga babaeng kadete.

Pangwalo naman si Cdt 1CL Glyn Elinor Buansi Marapao, ng Buguias, Benguet. Siya ay kapatid ni Eda Glis Marapao, na nagtapos na pangatlo sa PMA Salaknib Class of 2017.

Si Umalla ay panglimang babaeng kadete na magtatapos bilang PMA class valedictorian.

Nasa ikalawang taon si Umalla sa First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities sa Batangas, na kumukuha ng kursong Education nang magdesisyon pumasok sa PMA.

Nakatakda siyang maglingkod sa Navy.

Tatanggapin ng 21-anyos na top cadet ang Presidential Saber, Phil. Navy Saber, Distinguished Cadet Award, Academic Group Award, Humanities Plaque, Management Plaque, Social Sciences Plaque, Natural Science Plaque, Computing and Infomation Sciences Plaque, Jusmag Award, Australian Defense Best Overall Performance, Spanish Armed Forces Award, at Agfo Award.

Pangalawa naman sa top 10 si C1C Jonathan Mendoza, ng Sangley Point, Cavite at pangatlo si C1C Jahziel Tandoc, ng La Trinidad, Benguet.

Ang iba pang pasok sa top 10 ay sina C1C Daniel Heinz Bugnosen Lucas, ng Barlig, Mt Province; Aldren Maambong Altamero, ng Kidapawan City; Richard Balanag Lonogan, ng Sagada, Mt Province; Marinel Dinihay Fundales, ng Leganes, Iloilo; at Marapao.

Pasok din sa top 10 sina C1C Ruth Angelique Ricardo Pasos, ng Pasig City; at Daryl James Jalgalado Ligutan, ng Sta. Mesa, Maynila.
