DISAPPOINTED ang aktor na si Richard Yap sa pagkakatalo niya sa pagtakbo bilang congressman ng isang distrito sa Cebu City.
Ilan sa mga artistang kumampanya sa kanya ay sina Vice Ganda at Jodi Sta. Maria.
“To my family, friends, colleagues and the Cebuanos, I know it is very disappointing end of our journey. For as much as it has been a difficult campaign for us right from the beginning, I also know it has been a rewarding time for me.
“I am just sad that I was not given the chance to make my plans and dreams for Cebu a reality. I have met many incredible Cebuanos ad have had the privilege to listen to whay they ahve to say which is mostly the desire to have a better life,” bahagi ng Facebook post ni Richard.
Marami rin ang nalungkot na mga taga-showbiz sa pagkatalo ni Edu Manzano na tumakbong congressman sa San Juan City.
Hindi rin pinalad sina ER Ejercito na tumakbong gobernador sa Laguna, Gary Estrada na kumandidatong vice-mayor sa Cainta, Rizal, Roderick Paulate na tumakbo namang bise alkalde ng Quezon City.
Ang mga artista namang pinalad na manalo sa posisyon ng kongresista ay sina Cong. Vilma Santos-Recto ng Lipa City, Alfred Vargas ng Quezon City, Yul Servo ng Manila, at Lucy Torres Gomez ng Ormoc City.

Samantala, ikinatutuwa naman ng showbiz ang pahkapanalo ng boyfriend ni Aiko Melendez na si Jay Khonghun, bilang vice governor ng Zambales. Gulping-gulpi si Aiko sa mga banat sa kanya ng mga kalaban ng BF kaya umabot pa siya sa pagdedemanda!
Sa Pasig City naman, puwede nang dumayo ang Sugod Bahay ng Eat Bulaga sa syudad dahil tinibag ni Vico Sotto ang Eusebio dynasty sa pagkapanalo niya bilang Mayor ng Pasig City.
Of course, winakasan ni Isko Moreno ang paghahari ni Mayor Joseph Esrada sa Maynila matapos magwaging bagong mayor ng syudad!
Magpapatuloy naman si Jestoni Alarcon bilang board member ng unang distrito ng Rizal province.
Bago pa mag-eleksyon, sure winners na sina Dan Fernandez (bilang congressman sa 1st District ng Laguna) at Jolo Revilla (bilang bise-gobernador ng Cavite).
End game na ng ilang political dynasties sa Metro Manila. Pero buhay na buhay pa rin ito sa malalayong probinsya, huh!
