Kilig na kilig si Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray nang finally ay na-intervew na siya ng international fashion icon and TV host na si Tyra Banks.
Isa si Tyra sa mga naging instant fan ni Catriona dahil sa kanyang “lava walk” and “slow-mo” twirl during the Miss U pageant.
Naganap ang phone interview sa pagitan nina Tyra at Catriona kamakailan para sa V Magazine. Bungad ni Tyra, “Well, good afternoon from California. I’m still recovering from your lava walk at the Miss Universe pageant.
“I just kept watching and rewatching, like, What’s her secret? I was totally fangirling! Well, your walk, and how you arched your back, was amazing. But I heard you have a medical condition (having to do) with your back, right?” sabi pa ni Tyra.
Sagot ni Catriona, “Yeah, I have scoliosis. It hasn’t really hindered me at all, except after long day in heels when I do particularly feel it in my posture muscles.”
Napag-usapan din sa nasabing interview ang makasaysayang “silver lining” statement ni Catriona, her advocacy on free education, partikular na sa mga batang taga-Tondo.
