Panawagan ng umento sa sahod ipinasa ng Palasyo sa wage board
IGINIIT ng Palasyo na nasa kamay na ng mga regional wage board ang panawagang umento sa sahod sa harap naman ng isinusulong ng mga labor group na P710 dagdag-sahod.
Sa isang briefing, sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo na lahat ng mga petisyon para sa dagdag-sahod at dapat dumaan sa mga regional wage boards.
“Eh meron naman tayong wage board di ba? So whatever petitions they will have to file have to go through the wage board,” sabi ni Panelo.
Nauna nang isinulong ng Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) ang P710 umento sa sahod bilang paggunita ng Araw Ng Paggawa bukas.
“Nasa wage board iyan. Kasi ang wage board ang magde-determine niyan eh, kung kailangan o kung hindi depende sa circumstances surrounding whatever petition they have in mind,” ayon pa kay Panelo.
Ayon pa kay Panelo alam ng mga wage board ang kanilang trabaho.
