Jodi game sa Tabing Ilog reunion: Riot yan!

Naniniwala si Jodi Sta. Maria na makaka-relate pa rin ang mga millennials sa kuwento ng youth oriented drama series nilang Tabing Ilog na napanood noon sa ABS-CBN.

Hit na hit noon ang Tabing Ilog na napapanood tuwing Linggo ng hapon. Ilang beses itong na-extend sa ere dahil sa talagang sinubaybayan ito ng mga manonood hindi lang ng mga kabataan kundi pati na rin ng mga magulang.

Bukod sa pagbabalik-primetime ni Jodi sa via Sino ang May Sala: Mea Culpa na nagsimula na kahapon, ibinalita rin ng aktres ang re-run ngTabing Ilog sa ABS-CBN’s streaming service na iWant.

Sey ng Kapamilya actress, excited siya sa magiging reaksyon ng younger viewers sa dati nilang programa na talagang tumatak sa mga manonood.

“Sobrang nostalgic, kasi naalala ko sina John Lloyd (Cruz), sina Baron (Geisler), lahat ng cast and nae-excite ako kasi ‘yung generation na hindi nakaabot ng Tabing Ilog before, mapapanood nila ngayon,” aniya sa panayam ng ABS-CBN.

Sa posibilidad ng isang reunion project among its cast, game na game si Jodi na makatrabaho uli sina John Lloyd, Baron, Kaye Abad, Paula Peralejo, Patrick Garcia, Desiree del Valle at Paolo Contis.

“Why not, di ba? Masaya yan! That would be fun, riot yun,” excited na chika ni Jodi.

Ang Tabing Ilog ay isang youth-oriented series na napanood sa ABS-CBN simula March, 1999 hanggang October, 2003.

Ito yung sinasabing Pinoy version ng sikat na sikat noong American teen drama na Dawson’s Creek.
