Gretchen Ho na-bad trip: Pinaghintay ng 8 oras ni Mayweather, no show sa interview
TV HOST Gretchen Ho was obviously disappointed when boxing champ Floyd Mayweather stood her up for an interview.
On her Instagram account, Gretchen posted updates on Mayweather presscon.
“Waiting for Money Mayweather! #MayweatheratRWManila,” una niyang message, followed by “Waiting for Mayweather be like…6 hours & counting. Nagpa Belo, bumili ng LV, at rubbershoes muna raw!!!”
Later, in exasperation perhaps as they were told that the boxer will no longer arrive, Gretchen said, “A tragedy is always a good story to tell. Me on Mayweather’s no-show at the presscon after 8+ hours of waiting. Now, I can tell my grandkids, I was once stood up by Floyd.”
Of course, it generated sympathy for Gretchen. Ikaw ba naman ang paghintayin ng eight hours, sino ba ang hindi kakampi sa iyo.
“Never thought u were complaining at all. Seems like just a normal matter of fact statement. Some people just like to overreacts. That’s all.”
“’Money’ can’t buy respect of people’s time. But your positive perspective of things is priceless, @gretchenho.”
“Opps lahing Indian pala c Floyd but still @gretchenho ur still pretty aftr 8 hours of waiting.”
“I wouldnt wait that long. 30mins is already too long for me. Sorry to hear you wasted so much of your time.”
“Bilib ako sa positive and energetic mood mo, biruin mo ginabe sa pag- aantay kay Floyd (na hindi sila sinipot) tapos may on the field shoot pa sya ng umaga sa Rodriquez rizal para sa UKG.”
“Money can’t buy class nor manners!!! Shame on him!! Unprofessional assh***le.”
Bilib kami sa patience and professionalism ni Gretchen. Imagine, waiting for this boxing superstar na wala naman palang palabra de honor at walangpakialam sa oras ng ibang tao.
People should laud Gretchen for being the ultimate pro in this scenario. Ibang klase siya katulad ng ibang klaseng animal din si Floyd.
