Panawagan na tanggalan ng scholarship ang mga estudyanteng anti-gov’t sinopla
SINOPLA ng Palasyo ang panawagan ni National Youth Commission (NYC) Chairman Ronald Cardema na tanggalan ng scholarship ang mga estudyanteng sumasali sa mga pagkilos kontra administrasyon.
Sa isang briefing, sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo na wala namang ebidensiya na sangkot ang mga estudyante sa mga pagkilos para patalsikin si Pangulong Duterte.
“We are government of laws, not of speculations. Kung sinususpetsahan lang natin, hindi naman pupwede iyon, kailangan meron tayong ebidensiya na mga parte nga sila ng mga grupo na laban sa gobyerno. Kung sila ay sumasama lang sa mga rally, that’s their right- that’s freedom of expression and freedom of assembly,” sabi ni Panelo.
Idinagdag ni Panelo na dapat na magpakita ng ebidensiya sa mga inaakusahang estudyante.
“Unless you can show us concrete evidence that they are really part of those forces against the government, hindi naman pupuwede iyon,” dagdag ni Panelo.
