Angel: Pera-pera lang ako nu’ng pumasok ako sa showbiz
ANGEL Locsin unabashedly admitted that doing TV series and movies then was just bread trip.
“Ako, pera-pera lang naman ako nu’ng umpisa. Nu’ng pumasok ako, hindi ko talaga naiintindihan ‘yung passion sa pag-aartista at ang gusto ko lang ay makaipon,” pag-amin ni Angel sa mediacon ng The General’s Daughter which marks her return to television.
But working with Amy Austria in one project has made her realize what passion about acting is all about.
She narrated how she was moved by Amy’s work ethics.
“Hindi ko siya makakalimutan sa Mulawin. Noong nagbo-voice over kami, umiiyak siya. Sabi ko, ‘Nay, bakit ka umiiyak, e, V.O. (voiceover) lang naman ito?’
“Sabi niya, ‘Anak, kasi alam ng tao kung dinadaya mo sila. Alam ng tao kung binabasa mo lang ang script at ine-etchos mo lang sila. Kailangan maramdaman nila ang emosyon mo because that is your responsibility.’
With that, sobrang naging eye-opener iyon kay Angel that now, she even has a kodigo na nakuha rin niya kay Amy. Nakalagay sa kodigo ang mga eksena niya for the day, mga kaeksena at kung ano ang dapat niyang memoryahin sa script.
