Kris sa ABS-CBN: Wala kaming issue… I apologize nadamay kayo sa gulo
HUMINGI ng paumanhin si Kris Aquino sa ABS-CBN matapos madamay ang TV network dahil sa kasong isinampa niya sa dating business partner na si Nicko Falcis.
Hindi pinalampas ng Queen of Social Media ang sinabi ni Falcis sa tell-all interview niya sa ANC sa pamamagitan ni Ces Drilon na may “emotional baggage” pa rin siya sa pag-alis sa ABS-CBN.
Nagsimula raw ang hindi nila pagkakaunawaan ni Kris noong August, 2018 matapos ang “Crazy Rich Asians” premiere sa Hollywood. Pag-uwi raw ng TV host sa Pilipinas ay nalaman nito na nagkaroon ng access ang isa sa mga ABS-CBN website sa exclusive pictures ng KCAP na ayon kay Nicko, “triggered her most insecure side and she lashed out on us.”
“You know Nicko, that we do not like them and we will never give in to them,” ang sabi pa raw noon ni Kris sa kanya.
Sa pamamagitan ng mahabang Facebook status, sinagot ni Kris ang mga sinabi ng dating business associate kasabay ng paghingi ng dispensa sa Kapamilya Network.
“I can admit to heartbreak that it ended not in the way I wished with ABS. But did ABS-CBN ever steal money from me? I am HONEST enough- I earned much, hundreds of millions in my years with ABS-CBN. I am proud, malaki rin ang naakyat kong pera sa ABS-CBN. Kung finances ang pag-uusapan – wala kaming issue.
“And nobody can erase history. Sabay nakulong si tito Geny Lopez and my Dad during Martial Law. Kung ano man ang mga issues of misunderstanding, tito manolo & tita maritess lopez loved mom. Their youngest son Mark is now chairman. i said this & i stand by it- when someone did good for my mom, (in this case- SOBRANG LOVE & RESPECT ang binigay ni tito manolo & tita maritess to Mom) i’ll stop my worst impulses- because of my mom & her memory.
“I stated, for my sons & the memory of my parents i can HUMBLE myself. In this instance WAG IDAMAY ang ABS CBN. Wag ilihis ang issue.
“From my heart, to Chairman Mark Lopez (most especially his parents) & President/CEO Carlo Katigbak- i apologize nadamay kayo sa gulo. You deserve for me to stand up and give you the high esteem you rightfully deserve.”
