MATAPOS ang anim na taong paglalaro sa PBA ay opisyal na nagpaalam sa paglalaro ng basketball si Rain or Shine guard Chris Tiu Martes ng umaga.
Sa kanyang Twitter account ay sinabi ng 33-taong gulang na si Tiu na: “My heartfelt gratitude to every person who has been part of my basketball journey!! Most especially to our Lord who makes all things possible. It’s now time to move on. My heart is full. #17 signing off…”
Sa kolehiyo ay naihatid niya sa kampeonato ng UAAP ang Ateneo Blue Eagles at sa PBA ay kabilang siya sa koponan ng Rain or Shine na nag-kampeon sa 2016 Commissioner’s Cup.
Napili siya ng Elasto Painters bilang seventh overall pick ng 2012 Rookie Draft.
