KABILANG na ang Batangueños sa milyun-milyong Filipino na makakapanood ng malinaw na mga programa sa TV gamit ang ABS-CBN TVplus, ang unang digital terrestrial TV product sa bansa.
Opisyal na ipinakilala ang “mahiwagang black box” sa Batangas sa ginanap na ceremonial switch-on event sa Lipa City Youth and Cultural Center nitong Sabado. Hudyat ang bagong signal coverage area sa patuloy na pangunguna ng ABS-CBN sa paglipat ng viewers sa digital TV mula analog.
Present sa event sina Mark Awiten, CineMo channel head, Danie Cruz, YeY and Knowledge channel head at Woodrow Francia, ABS-CBN Southern Tagalog area head.
Isang concert din ang inihandog ng ABS-CBN TVplus sa mga taga-Batangas. Dumalo sa selebrasyon sina Richard Gutierrez, Hashtag members McCoy de Leon, Charles Kieron, Rayt Carreon at Maru Delgado; Tawag Ng Tanghalan Divas Rachel Gabreza at Remy Luntayao; Aila Santos, Hazelyn Cascano ng HALA; “TNT Cove” Christian Bahaya, JM Bales at Sofronio Vasquez; at sina Jex de Castro, Mark Michael Garcia, Tuko delos Reyes at Reggie Tortugo.
Bukod sa free TV channels na ABS-CBN at ABS-CBN S+A, mapapanood na rin ng mga Batangueño ang “SorpreSaya,” isang weekday game show with hosts Kapamilya komikeros Jobert Austria at Nonong Ballinan and “Miss Q & A” finalist Elsa Droga.
Umeere ito sa TVplus exclusive channel na CineMo, isang all-day movie channel. Napapanood din sa CineMo ang foreign at local classic at action movies na pinagbibidahan nina Fernando Poe Jr., Dolphy, Robin Padilla at marami pang iba.
Samantala, tiyak na magugustuhan ng mga bata ang isa pang exclusive channel na YeY, isang all-day kids entertainment channel na nagpapalabas ng sikat na cartoon shows tulad ng Spongebob Squarepants, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Paw Patrol, My Hero Academia at Digimon Adventure Tri, pati na ang all-kids daily show na Team YeY.
Ang ibang exclusive channels ng TVplus ay Knowledge Channel, isang educational channel na nagpapalabas ng curriculum-based programs para sa primary at secondary students pati na ang DZMM TeleRadyo.
Gamit ang ABS-CBN TVplus box, makakapanood na rin ng box-office movies ng Star Cinema tuwing weekend ang Batangueños gamit ang Kapamilya Box Office (KBO) sa halagang P30.
Available na ang ABS-CBN TVplus sa Batangas City, Agoncillo, Alitagtag, Balayan, Bauan, Calaca, Calatagan, Cuenca, Ibaan, Lemery, Lipa City, Mabini, Padre Garcia, Rosario, San Jose, San Luis, San Nicolas, San Pascual, Sta. Teresita, Taal, Taysan, Tuy, at ibang parte ng Quezon province.
