Regine ayaw nang kasuhan ang mga bashers, may mas matinding pasabog

HINDI na magsasampa ng cyberbullying case si Regine Velasquez laban sa mga netizens na nag-post ng masasakit at malilisyosong salita tungkol sa kanya.

Pero ayon kay Regine, may mga kinakausap na siyang mga personalidad para makatulong sa kampanya ng pamahalaan kontra cyberbullying.

“I’m not gonna file kasi it’s very serious. I have to go to NBI and file a case then hire a lawyer. But I’m doing something. I’m talking to some people how to make, alam mo ‘yung complaining process, na easier for all of us,” simulang pahayag ni Regine sa presscon ng next major concert niya, ang “Regine At The Movies”.

“Kumbaga parang pareho rin, kapag gusto mong magreklamo, pupunta ka ng NBI, pero ito, you just go to a link. You put everything in there, kasi there’s a cyber law naman e.

“Meron namang existing laws, but you know what’s funny pa, what’s not right, actually, is people are actually laughing at this law.

“They’re laughing at it, and it’s sad. There’s a reason why it was there. You know, I mean, I felt really sad that they were mocking the law. They were laughing about it.

“And so I thought, maybe really, we should do something about it. It’s not enough anymore that we just, kumbaga ‘yung gagawa tayo ng awareness about cyber crime, it’s not enough.

“There has to be something na mas strong at mas madali ang procedure. Sa generation natin, magtutulong-tulong tayo pwede nating magawa ito,” sey pa ng Songbird.

“We can actually make a difference. For me kasi, ‘yun bang social media that we are all enjoying, one of its purpose is to make friends, you know, doon sa mga medyo mahiyain.

“Kahit na mahiyain ka, in Facebook, you can do that. In Instagram, pwede kang mag-post ng picture mo que sehoda i-edit mo nang i-edit ‘yan, basta happy ka.

“It’s to make us all feel happy and to make us all feel that we belong, and then there are those people who would try and ruin it for all of us, hindi ba?

“So, I’m trying to do something to eliminate all those people to make it easier for all of us to complain at may mararating ‘yung mga reklamo natin.

“So hopefully, hindi ko alam kung meron talagang mangyayari kasi kailangan ko ‘yung support ng government e, kasi it’s such a very huge task,” paliwanag ni Regine.
