Missionary visa ni Sister Fox ibinaba sa visitor’s visa
IBINABA ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang missionary visa ng Australian missionary na si Sister Patricia Fox sa temporary visitor’s visa.
Sa isang kautusan na isinapubliko kahapon, tatagal lamang ang temporary visitor status ni Fox ng 59 days.
Sinabi ni BI Spokesperson Dana Krizia Sandoval na kinakailangan itong gawin matapos ibasura ang kahilingan ni Fox na palawigin ang kanyang missionary visa.
“Downgrading reverted her status to a temporary visitor, and she is given 59 days from the day her missionary visa expired, which was September 5,” sabi ni Sandoval.
Noong Hulyo, nauna nang ipinag-utos ng BI ang deportation ng Australyanong madre, na inapela naman ni Fox sa Department of Justice (DOJ).
“The BI still needs to wait for the decision before acting on her deportation,” dagdag ni Sandoval.
