German Moreno Studio binuksan na ng GMA; alaala ni Kuya Germs binuhay

BILANG pagkilala sa natata-nging kontribusyon at loyalty ng Master Showman na si Kuya Germs, pormal nang binuksan ng GMA Network ang German Moreno Studio. Ito’y bilang bahagi na rin ng 85th birthday celebration ng yumaong veteran TV host-comedian. Ilan sa mga tumatak na programa ni Kuya Germs sa GMA 7 ay ang Germside, Germspesyal, GMA Supershow, That’s Entertainment at Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman. Sa ginanap na dedication ceremony, sinabi ni GMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe Gozon, mananatiling buhay ang mga alaala ni Kuya Germs sa lahat ng mga Filipino. “We are grateful to Kuya Germs for devoting the more successful and longest part of his illustrious career in show business. Naming our Studio 6 after him will ensure that he will never be forgotten for his le-gendary contributions to the industry and his generosity to e-veryone in show business,” ayon kay Gozon. Dagdag naman ni GMA Chief Operating Officer and President Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr. “Hindi natulog, hindi kumupas at walang naging ka-tulad ang ipinakitang loyalty ni Kuya Germs sa GMA Network. Nag-iisa lang talaga ang ating minamahal na Master Showman.” Dumalo rin sa pagbubukas ng German Moreno Studio ang anak ni Kuya Germs na si Federico Moreno. “For me, the most significant part of his life is honest to goodness love. I would like to say thank you for this honor that you have bestowed on him. I am sure he is here. I know in his wildest dreams, he would never expect this because he never expected anything back,” pahayag nito. Naroon din ang isa pang taong malapit kay Kuya Germs, si Manay Ichu Maceda, “I would like to extend our deepest and sincerest gratitude to GMA from the executives and to all the employees of GMA for having treated German as your very own. For that, we will forever be grateful to you.” Samantala, ayon naman kay DSWD Undersecretary Isko Moreno, isa sa mga naging anak-anakan din ng TV host, grabe ang loyalty nito sa GMA, “Today, he teaches us that it pays to be loyal. Ipinakita niya na ang pagiging matapat ng isang tao ay pagbubungahan niya hanggang sa kabilang buhay. We were taught that way by Kuya Germs many times.” Ilan pa sa mga dumalo sa nasabing event ay sina MTRCB Chairperson Maria Rachel Arenas, Gloria Romero,  John Nite, mga apo ni Kuya Germs na sina Jose Miguel, Fran-shesca, Luis Gabriel at Jaime Rafael. Naroon din ang mga Kapuso stars na sina Jestoni Alarcon, Tina Paner, Sheryl Cruz, Jackie Lou Blanco,  Sanya Lopez, Jak Roberto, Jake Vargas, Renz Valerio, Marika Sasaki, Will Ashley, at mga GMA executives.
