Transaksyon sa beep card sa LRT at MRT 1 bilyon na

TINATAYANG umabot na sa 1 bilyon ang transaksyon sa beep card sa Light Rail Transit 1 at 2 at Metro Rail Transit 3.
Sinabi ng AF Payments Inc., ang consortium na nasa likod ng Beep card na noong Agosto 8 naitala ang ika-1 bilyong transaksyon.
Umabot sa 44 porsyento ang single journey ticket.
“Our team works day and night in partnership with the DOTr and the rail operators to ensure that the system meets the demanding performance standards set out in the Concession Agreement,” ani Peter Maher, pangulo at CEO ng AF Payments Inc.
Kamakailan ay inilungsad ang isang mobile app upang ma-check ng mga cardholder ang kanilang load at mga transaksyon. Maaari itong i-download ng libre sa Apple App Store at Google Play Store.
Mahigit sa 5 milyong beep card na ang naibenta. Bukod sa mga tren maaari rin itong ibayad sa point-to-point buses ng Froehlich, HM Transport, RRCG, TAS Trans, DNS, BGC Bus, Citylink Coach Services, Lancaster New City shuttle service, at BBL Trans (Balibago-Buendia route).
