Pia confident na malakas ang laban ni Catriona Gray sa Miss U
MAY statement si Pia Wurtzbach tungkol sa pagrampa ng transgender sa Miss Universe. Sa isang interview she said, “I always knew that transgender are allowed to join Miss Universe and win Miss Universe. So they’re welcome to join.”
She added, “We also have to remember that that’s a lifelong process for you to become a transgender and for you to identify as a woman.
“Hindi naman yan like one day she just decided na, ‘You know what today I’m going to be a woman. I want to be a Miss Universe.’ It’s not like that. For all we know, baka sa pagkabata pa lang niya,” Pia added.
As for our bet for this year’s Miss U, Catriona Gray, confident si Pia na malakas ang laban nito, “I think we have a very good chance at Miss U with her. She’s a well-rounded person, sobrang ganda, matangkad, proud to be Filipino. I mean what more could you ask for?”
