“But that was a long time ago, noong may residency pa ako as a performer in Las Vegas. Nakakatuwa naman na he was always there at naa-appreciate niya ang performance ko.

“I had a chance to meet him at sabi nga niya, he wants MJ to see my show. Tapos heto nga, nabalitaan ko that Joe has also passed away. May his soul rest in peace.

“Actually, may photo kami together. Hahanapin ko para mai-post ko. He was a very nice man and he really appreciates good music,” ang kuwento pa ni Lani sa isang panayam.

Regular nang mapapanood si Lani sa GMA 7 sa bagong singing reality show ng network, ang The Clash. Isa siya sa magiging judges ng progra,a kasama sina Christian Bautista at Ai Ai delas Alas, to be hosted by Regine Velasquez.

I missed everybody sa GMA-7. I missed working with Regine na nakasama ko for such a long time sa S.O.P.

“They gave me a warm welcome. As if hindi ako nawala nang matagal. Kaya for the duration of the show, mapapanood nila ako rito sa The Clash,” aniya pa.
