PhilHealth official P3,800 ang bayad araw-araw sa bahay
PINAIIMBESTIGAHAN sa Kamara de Representantes ang umano’y labis na paggastos ng opisyal ng Philippine Health Insurance Corporation na nagbabayad araw-araw ng P3,800 sa kanyang tinutuluyan dahil wala siyang bahay sa Maynila.
Ayon kay Negros Oriental Rep. Arnolfo Teves sobra-sobra ang ginagawang paggastos ni PhilHealth interim president Celestina Ma. Jude de la Serna, na taga-Bohol.
Kamakailan ay nakipagpulong si House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez at mga opisyal ng Kamara de Representantes kay dela Serna kaugnay ng umano’y labis na paggastos.
“So flagrant were the abuses that Speaker Alvarez furiously left a meeting with De la Serna as she insisted that she was never made aware that her hotel expenditures are unacceptable in government,” ani Teves.
Sa pagpupulong, sinabi ni dela Serna na ganun kalaki ang gastos sa kanyang tinitirahan.
Inihain ni Teves ang House Resolution 1928 upang maimbestigahan ito ng House committee on good government.
“There should be a need to safeguard the finances of PhilHealth as it is the most important element to be able to provide quality healthcare,” saad ng solon. “We will dig deep into her other expenditures as our sources have claimed that many such expenses are wasteful and too extravagant.”
Nauna ng ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Duterte ang pag-imbestiga kay dela Serna na gumastos umano ng P627,000 sa pagpunta at pag-uwi sa Bohol noong 2017.
