Du30 binigyan ang DOLE ng 30 araw para isumite ang mga kompanyang sangkot sa labor-only contracting
INATASAN ni Pangulong Duterte si Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III na isumite sa loob ng 30 araw ang mga kompanyang sangkot sa labor-only contracting.
“The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary is hereby directed to submit to the Office of the President within 30 days from issuance hereof, a comprehensive report on the implementation of DOLE Department Order Nos. 174 and 183 (s. 2017), including violations thereof, and list of companies engaged and/or suspected to be engaged in labor-only contracting,” sabi ni Duterte sa isang Memorandum.
Ito’y sa harap naman ng naunang pahayag ng Malacanang na hindi na pipirmahan ni Duterte ang isang executive order na naglalayong tapusin na ang “endo” o ang kontraktuwalisasyon sa bansa sa harap ng banta ng mga negosyante na aalis sa bansa sakaling ipatupad ito.
“Further, the National Labot Relations Commission is directed to coordinate with the DOLE Secretary and submit a list of cases involving respondents found to be engaged in labor-only contracting, and/or have committed violations of the above-stated Department Orders,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
