DUMALO si Maricel Soriano sa screening ng digitally restored movie niyang “Ikaw Pa Lang Ang Minahal”.
As Maricel’s avid fan, Arnel Ramos described the film when he watched the restored version: “Iba si Marya. The movie which was the most awarded film of 1992, remains expertly made and meticulously crafted by Carlos Siguion-Reyna and his team. Its centerpiece, Maricel Soriano’s indelible, staggering performance as Adela has aged well.
“It astounds a first-time viewer and makes misty-eyed longtime admirers of this masterwork. But more than anything, Ikaw Pa Lang Ang Minahal reminds us that they don’t make movies like this and stars like Marya anymore.
“It was a glorious era when star vehicles were also acting showcases; when movie queens and superstars were also great actresses. It is always nice to remember.”
