SINUSPINDE muli ng Malacanang ang klase ngayong araw sa lahat ng antas sa Metro Manila para umano sa kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral. “In view of actual and / or imminent threats posed by some groups, we are suspending classes at all levels in Metro Manila effective today, March 20, to safeguard the safety of students,” sabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque sa isang pahayag.
Inilabas ang suspensyon ganap na alas-10:30 ng umaga.
Kasabay nito, sinabi ni Roque na nasa desisyon naman ng mga lokal na pamahalaan sa labas ng National Capital Regionv(NCR) kung magdedeklara rin ng suspensyon.
“The President has instructed that he will suspend classes even with the slightest threat of a strike to ensure the protection and well-being of students,” ayon pa kay Roque.
Nauna nang sinuspinde ang klase sa Metro Manila kahapon ng hapon matapos naman ang tigil-pasada na isinagawa ng Piston.
“We reiterate that the government remains steadfast to modernize our public utility vehicles and will not be bullied or held hostage by some transport groups,” ayon pa kay Roque.
