Impeachment team vs Sereno binubuo na

  Bago pa man ang botohan kung mayroong probable cause ang reklamo laban kay Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno ay nagsimula na ang House committee on justice na buohin ang Articles of Impeachment.     Kahapon ay kinumpirma ng chairman ng komite na si Oriental Mindoro Rep. Rey Umali na iniurong din sa Huwebes ang botohan ng probable cause sa halip na Miyerkules.     Ayon kay Umali binubuo na nila ang 11-man prosecution team ng Justice committee na siyang maglalatag ng kaso ni Sereno sa impeachment court. Pumipili umano sila sa may 40 mambabatas.     “We will choose somebody who has experience on graft, halimbawa psychiatric. Kung pwede mayroong may experience ng psychology o psychiatry. Mga ganoon,” ani Umali.     Siguro na ang slot sina Umali at House majority leader Rodolfo Farinas na bahagi ng team ng prosekusyon ng impeachment case laban kay SC Chief Justice Renato Corona.     Kumpiyansa rin si Umali na mako-convict si Sereno. “If she (Sereno) is that confident that she would win the case, the more that we are confident that she will be convicted.”     Ayon sa isang source malakas ang tyansa na makasama sa prosecution team sina CIBAC Rep. Sherwin Tugna at Pangasinan Rep. Marlyn Primicias-Agabas na kasama sa team sa paglilitis ni Corona.     Malamang din umano makasama sina Misamis Occidental Rep. Henry Oaminal, Oriental Mindoro Rep. Doy Leachon at Leyte Rep. Vicente Veloso na dating associate justice ng Court of Appeals.     Malabo namang maisama ang mga miyembro ng Corona prosecution team na sina Dinagat Islands Rep. Kaka Bag-ao at Northern Samar Rep. Raul Daza na bahagi ng oposisyon sa Kamara.     Matapos pagbotohan ang probable cause ay gagawa na ang Articles of Impeachment na dadalhin sa plenaryo upang pagbotohan ng lahat ng miyembro ng Kamara.     Kailangan ng 98 boto para ma-impeach si Sereno at maipadala ang reklamo sa Senate impeachment court.
