NAGDEKLARA ng state of calamity sa Davao City sa harap ng pananalasa ng bagyong Vinta.
Kinumpirma ni Davao City Councilor Pilar Braga (1st district) na napagdesisyon ang pagdedeklara ng state of calamity sa Davao City matapos ang isinagawang special session ng city council.
“Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte in a privilege speech emotionally tendered his resignation. We felt a bomb was exploded, shocked, stunned. We all, were sad, can’t help shedding tears. I felt a stab in my heart as vice mayor has endeared himself to me, to us we truly love him,” sabi ni Braga.
Idinagdag ni Braga na umaasa pa rin sila na hindi pa pinal ang pagbibitiw ni Duterte.
“We pray that God enlightens Vice Mayor Pulong, give him courage, strength, discerment that he may change his mind. And that (Davao City) Mayor Sara (will) not to accept his resignation,” ayon pa kay Braga.
Idinagdag ni Braga na naka-leave silang lahat hanggang Disyembre 31, 2017.
