Pacquiao nangako ng P1-B pondo sa rehab ng Rizal Memorial Sports Complex

MAG-AAMBAG ng tulong si multi-division world boxing champion at Sen. Manny Pacquiao sa pagtatakda ng P1-bilyong pondo kasama ang ilang tutulong pa na mga senador upang muling mapaganda ang Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

Sinabi ni PSC Executive Director Atty. Sannah Frivaldo na nais ni Pacquiao na maipakita ang husay at sakripisyo ng mga naunang pambansang atleta pati na rin ang kanilang mga karangalan at prestihiyong ibinigay sa bansa sa mas pinakamaraming tao upang makilala at matutunan nila ang dulot ng sports.

“As we end the year, several Senators have expressed their commitment in supporting the rehabilitation of our sports facilities. Although these are not yet enough, we are relentless in our efforts to raise funds and reach our target,” sabi ni Frivaldo sa updates sa rehabilitasyon ng Rizal Memorial Sports Complex at PhilSports Complex.

Nais din ni Pacquiao na ilipat ang National Sports Museum sa harap ng 84 taong Rizal Memorial Sports Complex upang madaling makita ng mga taong dumaraan at maging parte rin sa pagbibigay edukasyon sa mga kabataan na hindi na inabot ang tulad nina Lydia De Vega-Mercado, Eric Buhain, Elma Muros-Posadas at iba pang atleta.
