Palasyo ikinalungkot ang trahedya sa Quezon matapos ang paglubog ng isang fascraft
 NAGPAHAYAG ng pagkalungkot ang Palasyo sa nangyaring trahedya matapos ang paglubog ng isang fascraft na may 251 pasahero kahapon sa karagatan na sakop ng Infanta, Quezon kung saan tinatayang lima na ang namatay, samantalang 199 ang nasagip.
“We are saddened by the unfortunate incident involving Mercraft 3, which capsized between Dinahican, Quezon and Polilio Island,” sabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
Tiniyak din ni Roque na patuloy ang ginagawang search and rescue ng Coast Guard para matiyak na mahahanap ang iba pang pasaherong nawawala.
Ito’y matapos tumaob ang Mercraft III sa bahagi ng dagat malapit sa Brgy. Dinahican, dakong alas-11:30 ng umaga.
“Investigations have started to determine what caused this sea mishap even as we call on our transport officials to exercise due diligence in the performance of their duties especially with the expected huge influx of travellers to the provinces this holiday season,” ayon pa kay Roque.
