Piyansa ng anak, utol ni Napoles binawasan

    Pinagbigyan ng Sandiganbayan Third Division ang kapatid at mga anak ni Janet Lim Napoles na mabawasan ang kanilang piyansa para sa patong-patong na kaso kaugnay ng P900 milyong Malampaya Fund scam.       Sa halip na magbayad ng P22.3 milyon bawat isa, sina Jo Christine at James Christopher Napoles at tiyuhin na si Ronald Francisco Lim ay magbabayad na lamang ng tig-P5.77 milyon.     Mas mataas ito sa kanilang hiling na magpiyansa ng halagang P690,000 bawat isa.       “The Court resolves to partially grant the said motion for the following reasons: (1) the Information in these cases […] are all bailable offenses that were filed and raffled together on December 1, 2017 and December 8, 2017, respectively,” saad ng resolusyon.     Ang tatlo ay nahaharap sa 97 kaso ng graft at 97 kaso ng malversation through falsification of public documents. Ang piyansa sa graft ay P30,000 at P200,000 sa malversation.       Hindi naman pinagbigyan ang mosyon ng tatlo na suspendihin ang pagpapalabas ng warrant of arrest para sa kanilang pansamantalang kalayaan.       Ayon sa reklamo napunta ang Malampaya fund sa mga non-government organization ni Napoles. Ang pondo ay para sa mga biktima ng bagyong Ondoy at Pepeng.
