Miss U 2017 Demi Leigh napamahal agad sa mga Pinoy
FEEL na feel ni Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters at ng iba pang beauty queens mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo ang holiday season sa Pilipinas.
Ayon kay Peters sa isang interview, napamahal na agad siya sa mga Pinoy sa sandaling pananatili niya sa bansa.
“We got to spend an afternoon with amazing little kids, and to see their faces light up, it’s so good, it’s so amazing, and it’s so heartwarming to see.
“It’s just shows how wonderful the people and the spirit of the Philippines are, especially being able to share the spirit of the holiday and Christmas,” sabi ni Miss South Africa nang maka-bonding ang ilang nga batang Pinoy sa isang event ng Miss Universe sa Manila.
“Seeing the kids today, it reminded me [how] I would like to focus on empowering women and children by keeping my skills and knowledge on how to overcome difficult situations and how to prevent difficult situations. I think it is a very important and real problem all over the world today,” pahabol pa ni Nel-Peters.
