Alden biggest donor sa GMA 7 X-mas party para sa press; nagbigay ng P50K
OF the network parties (as if naman, marami) ay ‘yung sa GMA 7 lang ang aming pinuntahan held at the station’s annex building last Thursday.
As expected, there was a deluge of prizes in store for the members of the entertainment media, from gift certificates to cold cash. The biggest cash donation na P50,000 ay nagmula kay Alden Richards while the rest were pooled by other Kapuso artists at maging ng mga opisyal ng istasyon.
As in every year, fun would hover in the air. Nakasanayan na kasi ang mga palaro interspersed with production numbers. This year, however, conspicuously absent ang mga malalaking bituin ng GMA, themselves excited drawers of raffle winners.
Sa halip—at huwag sanang ikagalit ng namahala ng party—hindi mula sa langit bumaba ang mga tala kundi sa mababang ulap lang the height of a skyscraper sa rami ng mga “da who.”
That even this bunch of “da who’s” with their nameplates hanging by their necks ay mga da who pa rin.
Traditionally accustomed na kasi ang press na dumadalo ang mga pambatong artista ng GMA, their presence being their chance to promote their shows to be written about without calling for presscons na gagastusan pa ng network.
Samantala, nagsilbing pagkakataon ni Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, pinuno ng GMA, na ianunsiyo—for purposes of clarification—ang malaking kaibahan ng NUTAM at Kantar, ang dalawang service provider sa bansa na nagri-release ng hotly contested TV ratings.
GMA subscribes to NUTAM, while ABS-CBN’s partner is Kantar.
In FLG’s words, nakauungos ang mga programa ng Kapuso Network, an assertion na nais na lang naming iwanan sa mga manonood.
Sorry, but it’s not for us to say which channel has more top-rating programs dahil aminado kaming walang masyadong oras na tumutok sa telebisyon.
The least na maaari naming itugon kay FLG ay, “Eh, ‘di wow…ikaw na!” But wait, hindi ba’t ang nagpauso ng expression na ito ay si Vice Ganda ng kalabang istasyon?
