CHED Chair Licuanan pinagsusumite na ng courtesy resignation
TAHASANG sinabi ng Palasyo na dapat nang magsumite ng courtesy resignation si Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairperson Patricia Licuanan matapos namang sabihan na huwag nang dumalo sa mga pagpupulong ng Gabinete.
Sa isang briefing, sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella na Agosto 22, 2016 pa lamang ay nagpalabas na ng memorandum circular number 4 si Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea kung saan inatasan ang lahat ng mga presidential appointees noong panahon ni dating pangulong Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III na magsumite ng courtesy resignation.
“But when I checked with the Office of the Executive Secretary, apparently there was no letter submitted from the Commissioner,” dagdag ni Abella.
Nanindigan din si Abella na hindi ligtas si Licuanan sa direktiba sa kabila ng pagkakaroon niya ng fixed term na apat na taon.
“There was a request for a courtesy resignation,” giit ni Abella.
Nakatakdang magtapos sana ang termino ni Licuanan sa 2018.
