ITINANGGI ni Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go na siya ang tumawag kay Philipine National Police (PNP) Chief Bato dela Rosa para ibalik sa puwesto si dating Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Region 8 head Supt. Marvin Marcos.
“The allegations are pure hearsay and unsubstantiated. I cannot recall having met former CIDG Region 8 Head Supt Marcos and I dont know him personally,” sabi ni Go.
Ito’y matapos siyang pangalan ni Sen. Leila de Lima na umano’y tinutukoy ni dela Rosa na siyang tumawag sa kanya para maging padrino ni Marcos.
“I did not ask General Bato to reinstate him. I also do not interfere with the affairs and functions of the PNP,” giit ni Go.
Si Marcos ang namuno ng operasyon kung saan napatay si dating Albuera, Leyte Mayor Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr.
