Do men cry, too?

Pinatunayan lang ni PNP Director Gen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa that shedding tears knows no gender. Napaiyak kasi siya nang ibunyag ni Kerwin na marami sa hanay ng Kapulisan ang umano’y nakinabang sa kalakalan ng droga sa parteng Kabisayaan.

While Bato’s tearful statement had pictured him as an “emo pansy,” nauunawaan namin ang kanyang sentimyento. Hindi ‘yon karuwagan o kahinaan.

When despite our trust na buong-buo nating ipinagkakaloob sa isang tao ay pagtataksil o betrayal ang isusukli pa sa atin ay bakit hindi tayo mapapaiyak (sa galit, oftentimes)?

Sa tanggapin natin o hindi, our police force is now in an embattled situation.

Pero kasabay nito’y ang pagtugon din sa hamon na dapat ay “takbuhan” (accent on the second syllable) ng ating mga kababayan ang Kapulisan sa halip na ang mga unipormadong taong ito ang “takbuhan” (accent on the last syllable) ng mga humihingi ng saklolo.
