Pangulong Duterte ipinag-utos ang imbestigasyon sa suicide ng ERC official
IPINAG-UTOS ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang imbestigasyon kaugnay ng pagpapakamatay ng isang mataas na opisyal ng Energy Regulatory Commission matapos ang alegasyon na ito ay may kaugnayan sa umano’y katiwalian sa ERC.
Sa isang text message, tiniyak din ni Communications Secretary Martin Andanar na walang sasantuhin sa isasagawang imbestigasyon.
“President Duterte has ordered the immediate investigation of the ERC,” sabi ni Duterte.
Ito’y matapos magpakamatay si director Francisco Jose Villa Jr. noong Nobyembre 9, bagamat nag-iwan ng mga “suicide notes” kung saan inaakusahan niya ang mga matataas na opisyal ng ERC na sangkot sa katiwalian.
Hindi naman masabi ni Andanar kung anong ahensiya ang magsasagawa ng imbestigasyon.
” Yes there will be no sacred cows,” ayon pa kay Andanar.
