Kapatid ng Ormoc chief of police arestado sa drug bust sa Tacloban
ARESTADO ang nakakabatang kapatid na lalaki ng Ormoc City police chief matapos ang isinagawang drug buy-bust operation sa Barangay Sabang, Tacloban City, Leyte.
Nakakulong si Ruel Ramirez at live-in partner na si Noriel Navarro sa Tacloban City Police Office habang hinihintay ang paghahain ng kaso kaugnay ng paglabag sa Comprehensive Drugs Act of 2002 sa prosecutor’s office.
Si Ramirez ang nakakabatang kapatid ni Senior Supt. Ramil Laroga Ramirez, Ormoc police director, ayon kay Chief Insp. Steve Castillote III, chief of police ng station 2 sa Tacloban.
Sinabi ni Castillote na kabilang si Ramirez sa listahan ng personalidad na sangkot sa droga sa Ormoc.
Idinagdag ni Castillote na naaresto sina Ramirez at Navarro matapos iabot ang isang pakete ng shabu sa isang undercover na pulis ganap na alas-3:30 ng hapon noong Lunes.
Nakumpiska sa kanila ang P320,000 halaga ng shabu.
