Wet wipes na delikado sa bata

     ecowaste-coalition Mayroon umanong mga baby wipes at facial cleansing na maaaring ginamitan ng kemikal na ipinagbabawal sa mga produkto na pambata.      Ayon sa EcoWaste Coalition maaaring nagtataglay ang mga baby wipes ng iodopropynyl butylcarbamate (IPBC), isang seminal na ipinagbabawal na gamitin ng tatlong taong gulang pababa batay sa pamantayan ng ASEAN and European Cosmetic Directives.      Sinabi ni Thony Dizon, coordinator ng EcoWaste, na mayroon silang nabiling 30 brand ng baby at cleansing wipes na ibinebenta ng P15 pataas. Ang mga ito ay hindi umano domains a Food and Drugs Administration.      “This is a cause for concern as these products may contain banned or restricted substances like IPBC that may cause health risk, especially for babies, who are prone to skin allergic reactions,” ani Dizon.      Bukod sa panganib na taglay nito, bumabara rin sa drainage at mga kanal ang wipes na tinatangay ng tubig hanggang sa dagat.      Noong 2013, ipinagbawal ng Czech Republic, Finland, Iceland, Slovakia, Spain at Sweden ang 19 na uri ng wet wipes na mayroong IPBC at iba pang preservatives na mapaganib sa kalusugan.     Sinabi ng Ministry of Health ng New Zealand noong 2011, na ipinagbawal nito ang wet wipes na may IPBC dahil sa “potential sensitizing and allergenic effects” nito.
