Lalaki arestado matapos mahulihan ng 4.8 kilo ng cocaine sa Naia

ARESTADO ang 22-anyos na Pinoy matapos magtangkang magpasok ng 4.8 kilo ng cocaine sa bansa.
Kinilala ni Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner Jaime Morente ang naarestong suspek na si Jon-Jon Villamin Jr.
Hinuli si Villamin ng mga operatiba ng BI, Bureau of Customs (BOC)at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) paglapag sa Maynila sakay ng Emirates flight EK332 mula sa Dubai.

Base sa ulat ni Department of Justice (DOJ) Intelligence Officer II Bienvenido Castillo, ipinaalam sa kanya ng PDEA ang nakatakdang pagdating ng isang posibleng drug mule.
“I immediately went to the Terminal 3 and proceeded to Emirates airlines to confirm if our subject was on board. Emirate ground staff confirmed that indeed subject was on board,” sabi ni Castillo.
Sinundan ng mga miyembro ng task group si Villamin nang siya ay pumunta sa carousel para kunin ang kanyang check-in baggage. Nilapitan si Villamin at inimbitahan para maimbestigahan sa Customs office.
Itinanggi ni Villamin na kanya ang bagahe at cocaine sa loob ng kanyang maleta, sa pagsasabing ibinigay lamang sa kanya ang maleta ng isang kaibigang Brazilian, na ngakong tatawagan siya para sabihan kung saan ito ihahatid sa Maynila.
