Duterte hindi magdedeklara ng state of emergency sa Jolo
SINABI ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na hindi kailangang magdeklara ng state of emergency sa Jolo matapos namang mapatay ng Abu Sayyaf ang 15 sundalo matapos maka-engkuwentro sa Jolo, Sulu, noong Lunes.
Kasabay nito, lumipad patungong Zamboanga City si Duterte para personal na makita ang mga nasawing mga sundalo.
“Hindi (pagdedeklara ng state of emergency). It’s just a punitive police action by the security forces of the government. The magnitude of the trouble there does not warrant anything except the industry of the AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) and PNP (Philippine National Police)
Nauna nang inihayag ng Palasyo na magpapadala ng karagdagang 2,500 mga sundalo sa Jolo para tugisin ang bandidong Abu Sayyaf.
“… Labinglima ‘yung patay na sundalo…So, magbisita ako doon… Sayang ang pera, gastos mo ng bala, bigay mo na lang sana sa tao,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
