SINIMULAN na ang second year ng ToFarm Film Festival via a thanksgiving party held at EDSA Shangri-La Hoel.
Ang Executive Vice President of Universal Harvester Inc. na si Dr. Milagros How ang nagsalita about the changes in the film festival’s theme for next year.
“For our second year we’d like to talk about change. We’d like to know how our farmers can rise to a promising future.
“Kaya para sa taong ito ang ating tema ay Planting Seeds of Change. In order to achieve change, we have to accept and learn it,” say niya sa kanyang speech.
Kasama ni Dr. How sina Maryo J. delos Reyes (Festival Director) at Rommel Cunanan (Project Director) during the thanksgiving.
Sa Nov. 18 and deadline of submission of screenplays. Sa Jan. 20, 2017 ang announcement of the 6 finalists sa 2nd ToFarm Film Festival 2017. Sa June 2 naman ang submission of the six completed full-length films.
Sa July 12 ang 2nd ToFarm Film Festival Opening Ceremony. From July 12-18, 2017 ang theatrical screening and July 18, 2017 ang Awards and Closing ceremony.
