IPINAG-UTOS ni Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Dir. Gen. State of the Nation Address (SONA) noong Hulyo 25.

“A lifting/withdrawal of Suspension of Offensive Police Operations against the CPP/NPA/NDF is hereby declared nationwide effective immediately today,” sabi ng memorandum na ipinalabas ni Dela Rosa.

“All office/units must be on high alert and continue to discharge their normal functions and mandate to neutralize all threats to national security, protect the citizenry, enforce the law and maintain the peace in all areas of responsibility,” dagdag ni Dela Rosa.

Sinabi naman ni Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founding chair Jose Maria Sison na nakatakda sanang magdeklara ng ceasefire ang NPA ganap na alas-8 ng gabi noong Sabado.
