Sinabi ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) na minomonitor nito ang isang low pressure area (LPA) sa labas ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Sa isang advisory, sinabi ng weather bureau na namataan ang LPA 1,620 kilometro silangan ng Mindanao.
Idinagdag ng Pagasa na huling naispatan ang unang LPA sa West Philippine Sea, ngunit inaasahang lalabas ng Philippine area of responsibility sa loob ng 24 oras, ayon kay Pagasa weather forecaster Jun Galang.
Naispatan naman ang isa pang LPA 435 kilometro kanluran ng Iba, Zambales ganap na alas 10 ng umaga at inaasahang magiging tropical depression kapag nasa labas na ng PAR.
Inaasahan namang papasok sa PAR sa loob ng 24 oras ang bagong LPA na namataan 1,620 kilometro ng silangan ng Mindanao.

Papangalan ang unang bagyo na papasok sa PAR ngayong 2016 na “Ambo.”
“These two LPAs are embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) which will bring occasional to frequent light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao today and onwards,” sabi ng Pagasa.
