Gumawa ng kasaysayan ang Cleveland Cavaliers sa pagkapanalo nito kontral Golden State Warriors sa Game 7 ng NBA Finals Linggo ng gabi (Lunes ng umaga sa Pilipinas), sa iskor na 93-89.

Naibangon at naipanalo ng Cleveland, sa pangunguna ni Lebron James, ang kampeonato, mula sa tatlong pagkatalo sa best-of-seven series.

Ito ang kauna-unahang pagkapanalo ng Cleveland sa nakalipas na 53 taon.
