SINABIHAN ng kampo ni President-elect Rodrigo Duterte si Vice President-elect Leni Robredo na ayaw niya itong makasama sa inauguration sa Hunyo 30.
“We were informed by the team of President-elect Rody Duterte about their preference to hold the inauguration separately,” sabi ni Boyet Dy, pinuno ng transition team ni Robredo.
Idinagdag ni Dy na nais ni Duterte na magkahiwalay ang idaraos na inauguration ng dalawang opisyal.
“While we have been preparing for a joint inauguration, we respect their decision and will begin our own preparations for a simple and modest ceremony,” sabi ni Dy.
Sinabi pa ni Dy na nais ni Robredo na manumpa sa pinaka maliit, pinaka liblib at pinaka mahirap na barangay sa kanyang probinsiya sa Camarines Sur.
“The ceremony will be conducted in Metro Manila, where Vice President-elect Leni Robredo wishes to be sworn in by Capt. Ronaldo D. Coner of Brgy. Punta Tarawal, Calabanga, the smallest, farthest and poorest barangay in Camarines Sur,” ayon pa kay Dy. Inquirer.net
