Miami Heat nakahirit ng Game 7 sa East semis Finals

MIAMI — Umiskor si Goran Dragic ng postseason career-high 30 puntos habang si Dwyane Wade ay nagdagdag ng 22 puntos para sa Miami Heat na sumandal sa kanilang small lineup para itakas ang 103-91 pagwawagi laban sa Toronto Raptors kahapon at itabla ang kanilang Eastern Conference semifinal series sa 3-3.

“Last year at this time we were all on vacation,” sabi ni Miami coach Erik Spoelstra. “So often in this business people tend to want to search for the easy route. There’s usually not an easy way in a seven-game series, certainly not with a second and third seed going against each other. This is the path … and now we’ve pushed it to a Game 7.”

Gaganapin naman ang Game 7 bukas sa Toronto.

Ang magwawagi ay tutungo naman sa Cleveland para sa Game 1 ng Eastern Conference finals sa Miyerkules. Ang Heat at Raptors ay parehong nagwagi sa Game 7 sa first round.

Si Kyle Lowry ay kumamada ng 36 puntos mula sa 12-for-27 shooting para sa Toronto. Si DeMar DeRozan ay nagdagdag ng 23 puntos para sa Raptors subalit ang kanilang mga kakampi ay nagsanib para tumira ng 14 of 34 fieldgoals para magtala ng 32 puntos.

“We came here to try to win the game,” sabi ni Raptors coach Dwane Casey. “We didn’t come here with a seven-game series in mind. It’s been a great series, they’re a championship-caliber team, well-coached team, but we came in here to try to win the game.”

Si Joe Johnson ay kumana ng 13 puntos, si Justise Winslow ay nagdagdag ng 12 puntos  at si Josh McRoberts ay nag-amba ng 10 puntos para sa Heat.

Tumira si Dragic ng 12 of 21 field goals at si Wade ay nagtala rin ng game-high na tatlong blocked shots para sa Heat — na bagamat kinapos sa malaking manlalaro bunga na rin ng pagkawala ni injured starting center Hassan Whiteside — ay natalo lang sa rebounding department, 43-41.

“I knew (Dragic) was going to have an amazing performance tonight,” sabi ni Wade. “You could tell he was on the brink of one.”
